Graphic Designer (Asia)
Piktochart has a big ambition of democratizing visual storytelling, and together, we need your help to empower 2.5 million users to communicate their visual stories successfully.
We are looking for TWO passionate Graphic Designers who will help us create eye-catching, effective, and impactful visual assets for Piktochart.
Our Communication Design Team is a globally remote team consisting of a Communication Design Lead, a Senior Graphic Designer, and a Videographer. Together as a team, we aspire to be known for outcomes that are both trendy by the creative industry and effective in visual storytelling.
In this role, you get to explore visual design trends and make some impact by creating templates that hundreds of thousands of users will use.
Your mission
Your responsibilities include the following items.
1. Strong visual communication skills
You design eye-catching and engaging templates for Piktochart users. You’re responsible for researching content and keeping yourself up-to-date with the latest visual design trends. You are organized, and you know how to strike the right balance between great aesthetics and a template that communicates effectively.
2. Ensures the quality of assets meets the users’ needs
You’re obsessed with our users. Not only do you have a strong bias for action and speed, but you also measure the effectiveness of our assets to Piktochart users.
3. Collaborative work makes the outcome better
You thrive in a collaborative atmosphere, cooperate with your team members through feedback, documentation, retrospectives, and training to help improve our collective knowledge and best practices. You demonstrate the interest and ability to keep learning and developing yourself as a designer. You actively participate and contribute to discussions around making our product better.
About you
You have worked as a Graphic Designer for 3-5 years, preferably in startups with a similar profile to us (SAAS, remote environment a plus), and bring an extensive wealth of experience. You are an exceptional individual and team player with high ownership and accountability. You possessed strong project management skills and came with experience leading projects with both internal and external stakeholders. We are bootstrapped, not a venture-backed startup, and the growth playbook looks very different at Piktochart. You enjoy collaborating with people and are excited to grow with the company.
This position is remote, and we prefer the candidate to be in Asia.

Frontend
Frontend Tech Lead (Europe/Asia)
Piktochart is hiring a Front end Tech Lead to help shape the future of business storytelling in the Innovation team. Besides having technical expertise and knowledge in the Frontend domain, you are someone who is keen on mentoring (note, not managing) a team, as well as ensuring their execution and quality towards achieving the goals.
You’ll have the freedom, trust, and autonomy to do your best work. The Front end team currently consists of 10 developers, split between Innovation, Growth and the Piktostory team (another product line focusing on videos). You will be reporting directly to the CTO.
Your team
Piktochart is on a mission to solve the problem of “I know what I want to say, but I don’t know how to say it.” The front-end team will be working on an editor with over 400,000 monthly active users and shipping innovative features. You’ll be collaborating with a team of developers, product managers, product designers, and product support who work on shaping the future of visual storytelling. This role will provide an opportunity to delve into front-end architecture. We implement features on a continuum of progressive enhancements and the Front end team supports this by writing automated tests, clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
For example, you build a proof-of-concept of fonts and color schemes to enable teams to be on brand, while also recommending the best font and color pairing. We believe that developers and designers should work together, so the developers should actively research and think of good ways to implement a solution.
The team is primarily using Vue.js, Typescript, and Svelte.
Your mission
Tech leads use their expertise and passion to multiply the overall output of their team. You will help to drive the team’s vision to its implementation, design, and build innovative solutions. You will maintain a high bar for quality and coach/mentor the other engineers. This position is also hands-on and you will be able to contribute technically.
About you
You have led or mentored front-end developer teams in startups with a similar profile to us (SAAS, remote a plus) and bring an extensive share of strategic learnings & experiences. Preferably around 7-10 years of experience with at least 2 in leadership/mentorship roles. You have shown how you maintained a strong craft and intend to continue on that path.
This position is remote, and the candidate has to be in either Asia or Europe.
